FRANCIS SÁNCHEZ
(b. Ceballos, Cuba, 1970) When I was about fourteen I published my first poems. My book of poems, "Revelations Tied to the Mast" (1996) was a finalist for the National Critics Award. I founded the Catholic Press Union of Cuba in 1996. I belonged to the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) from 1997 until my resignation on January 24, 2001. I am an editor and designer of cultural publications. My books of poetry, fiction and essays have been published in Cuba, Mexico and Spain. "Man in the Clouds " is the title of a story from the book "Perfect String" (Award Cirilo Villaverde, 2004). Contact: comarcainterior@yahoo.es Categories
